Why these stories?
Growing up, books were always the safe space I could turn to when my mind became chaotic. I thought I was escaping, but really I was journeying with flawed, battle-weary characters and learning to have courage and fight the darkness. Reading these stories gave my mind a break from the world and renewed my energy and hope so that when I set the book down, my reality seemed a little brighter. Now, I write to bring that joy, hope, and courage to anyone who picks up my stories.
